41 essays about child raising starring chatty mom and two wacky kids.

Episodes of child raising through philosophical conversations with positive attitude to the world.

Overview

“Can a three-year-old understand the sayings of Confucius?”
“Can a five-year-old understand the relationship between ability to think, thankfulness, introspection and happiness?”

Episodes of conversations with two kids about life, death, consideration, relationship, wisdom, happiness, lies, and values.
It talks about the meaning of the words in great books such as ‘The Discourses of Confucius’, ‘On the Secret of Expelling Ignorance’, ‘Kant’s Views on Education’, and ‘Little Prince’ at children’s eye level.

The episodes in the book with writer mom and her two kids are common in any household with kids. It is just everyday life without any exciting incidents but the philosophical concepts and clues that the author derives in these everyday life moments make the readers nod their head in agreement and understanding.

Through this book the author wants to educate the readers about the desirable attitude of parents. Author says that parents should continue to think and talk naturally with their children if they want their children to have a valuable, sincere, and happy life.

If you plant the root of ability to think through philosophical conversations, children will be able to overcome any difficulties, dream about a better world, and continue to develop and grow.

About the Author - Noh, Shinhwa

‘What can I do to make everyone in the world be healthy and happy?’ I thought about it and decided to become a contributor. The author believes that if the world is filled with warmth founded on love, the world would be more beautiful, and many problems would be solved.

The author is normally very soft spoken but is very decisive when it comes to her role in the world. That is why she quit her job of 17 years and became a Korean language teacher and writing into the dawn after her sons are in bed. Even today, she cheers on for herself, family, happiness, and well-being. Her writings include the essay “Flowers Bloom Even in Rain” which educated the readers about value of family.
