This book brings together interviews with 100 global leaders we usually see on TV and in the news, written at an elementary schooler’s level. In one volume, children can meet leaders from every field who are actively working on the world stage today, including management scholar Philip Kotler, primatologist Jane Goodall, inventor James Dyson, volleyball player Kim Yeon-koung, ballerina Kang Sue-jin, Susan Cain, author of “Quiet,” pianist David Helfgott and Google’s meditation teacher Chade-Meng Tan.
Questions were sent to each leader about how they found what they love, how they reached where they are today and how they overcame hard times. Their answers were translated, rewritten for elementary school readers and enriched with comics, photos and extra information to make reading fun.
Above all, the book is designed as a guide to help children find what they love. First, take a simple MBTI test to learn your personality type, check which career fields suit that type, and then read the interviews of role models working in those fields.
Most books for elementary schoolers feature historical figures.
