How to plan a pregnancy for parents-to-be, and accurate information on labor for expectant mothers!

The questions that are hard to ask, and the things you never knew but must know!

Dr. Hwang Incheol, ‘the man who delivers babies’, answers your questions at every stage of pregnancy and childbirth.

Plus practical advice from parents who have been there.

Overview

If there were questions you could not bring yourself to ask your obstetrician, if thick pregnancy encyclopedias felt too daunting, and if information from the internet and mom communities was hard to trust, this book will be the best mentor for mothers- and fathers-to-be.
Dr. Hwang explains, as if he were your own doctor, everything from the questions that are hard to ask to the things you never knew but must know. Messages from an experienced father give useful tips to both mom and dad and help them start parenting together. From trivial questions to medical knowledge, the book reads easily from an expectant mother’s point of view, and the experiences and realistic tips of other parents will clear away your worries about pregnancy and childbirth.
The book is organized into five chapters: preparing for pregnancy, the first trimester, the second trimester, the third trimester, and childbirth, with an appendix on prenatal education, food, the couple’s relationship and exercise. Each stage offers checkpoints, the tests you need, the changes in your body, a message from an experienced father and small but helpful tips from experienced mothers, along with government benefits, useful apps and products, and health guidelines.
Above all, a veteran obstetrician with more than 20 years of delivering babies gives clear answers on what to do when something hurts or feels wrong, when to go to the hospital, and how problems such as miscarriage or premature birth are treated.
